Slaughterman's Creed

Thine is the task of blood.
Discharge thy task with mercy.
Let thy victim feel no pain.
Let sudden blow bring death;
Such death as thou thyself would ask for
.”
The Slaughterman’s Creed

Slaughtermans Creed Concept Sketches by Stephen Downey

Sidney is a professional killer working for Big Lenny Addison, a London ganglord specialising in human trafficking. He is almost completely uneducated except in his family’s trade – at which he is an unparalleled expert.

When he is called upon to breach his code and bring a pregnant woman to slaughter, Sidney's world is changed forever. Betrayed by those he has served his whole life, the Slaughterman embarks on a bloody vendetta - determined to bring Addison's entire monstrous empire to the blade.

Character Profiles:

Sidney, the Slaughterman
The Slaughterman is a completely specialised killer, trained all his life by his father in the professional methods of the traditional British slaughterman. He lives his life by the slaughterman’s creed, having no other education, experience or interests.

Big Lenny Addison
Standing tall at the head of a human trafficking empire, Lenny Addison is pure, old-school London gangster. This is simultaneously his greatest strength and his fatal flaw. He’s a dinosaur, and there are newer firms eating away at the edges of his kingdom. Something’s going to give.

Madeleine Addison
Close to twenty years her husband’s junior, Madeleine Addison is simply in the wrong marriage at the wrong time. For eight years, she has lived a relatively happy life, never suspecting the real source of Big Lenny’s fortune. When she learns the truth she panics, desperate that her child should not be born into this violent, hidden world.

Mr. Green
The new face of London drug crime, Mr. Green is nothing less than a monster. A body modification enthusiast, he has modelled his identity after the traditional “Green Man” of British folklore. His knowledge of pharmacology, narcotics and toxins is phenomenal, and at the very heart of his success.
